Navin Tekwani, MD
Dr. Navin Tekwani was born and raised in St. Louis. He returned to his hometown and in 2002 he proudly joined his father in practice. Since returning, he has made it his mission to provide the best possible care to every patient he sees. He achieves this daily and has earned a reputation as a world-class surgeon. He has also added the most advanced diagnostic technology available to the practice making it an advanced center of excellence in the St. Louis area. He has been a leader in his field and has participated as a Principal Investigator in countless FDA clinical trials that have advanced the technology available in eye care today. Dr. Tekwani also participates annually in Mission Cataract USA. He gives the gift of clear vision by donating his time to perform cataract surgery on patients in need.
Dr. Tekwani is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Tekwani has been honored by Newsweek Magazine as the #1 Ophthalmologist in Missouri and #12 in America. He has also been awarded the honors of America’s Top Ophthalmologists, Best Doctors in America, Who's Who Top Doctors, "10 Best" Corrective Eye Surgeons for Missouri, America's Best Physicians and locally among St. Louis Magazine's Top Doctors. He serves as Chief of Ophthalmology for Mercy South Hospital and sits on the Board for Gateway Surgery Center.
He maintains professional memberships with the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, International Society of Refractive Surgeons, St. Louis Ophthalmologic Society and St. Louis Physicians Alliance.
H.T. Tekwani, MD, FACS
Dr. H.T. Tekwani has been serving the St. Louis community’s eye care needs for more than 40 years. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Tekwani has a developed a reputation for excellence in eye care and has been the recipient of numerous awards for outstanding care. He has been at the forefront of historical changes in the field of ophthalmology. He takes great pride in the generations of families he has served. Dr. Tekwani has been awarded the honor of America’s Top Ophthalmologists several years in a row. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He maintains professional memberships with the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the St. Louis Ophthalmologic Society.
Ananth Selliyan, MD
Dr. Ananth Selliyan is a comprehensive ophthalmologist at Tekwani Vision Center. A native to St. Louis, he proudly returned to serve his home community. Dr. Selliyan received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Truman State University, graduating with Cum Laude honors and recognized as a Who’s Who Inductee. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, graduating with Cum Laude honors and inducted into the Golden Key International Honor Society and Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society. Following completion of an Internal Medicine internship at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, he returned to University of Missouri- Kansas City to complete his Ophthalmology residency. Dr. Selliyan is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. His primary areas of interest include routine exams, diabetic eye exams, cataract surgery, minimally invasive and laser glaucoma surgery, macular degeneration, and retinal vascular diseases. Dr. Selliyan is committed to excellence, providing the best individualized eye care to every patient.
Jessica C. Jones, OD
Dr. Jones was born and raised in St. Louis. She graduated Summa Cum Laude at the University of Missouri-Columbia and was the top graduate of her class at the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry. Dr. Jones pursued advanced training by completing a residency where she focused on the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease. Her clinical interests include glaucoma, diabetes, macular degeneration, and ocular manifestations of systemic disease. She also specializes in contact lenses and emergency visits. She co-manages with ophthalmology and primary care physicians to provide comprehensive eye care. Dr. Jones is an active member of The Heart of America Contact Lens Society and the St. Louis Optometric Society. She maintains a relationship with and has presented research at the American Academy of Optometry, and currently serves as a subinvestigator for numerous FDA clinical trials. She is past chapter president of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Fraternity. She has been the recipient of multiple awards, including Vision Monday’s “Most Influential Women in Optical,” and has received the honor of “Top Optometrists in St. Louis” as well as America’s Top Optometrists several years in a row.
Brooke Reynolds, OD
Dr. Brooke Reynolds is a Saint Louis resident who graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southeast Missouri State University. She attended the University of Missouri- St. Louis College of Optometry where she graduated with top honors. While in practice, Dr. Reynolds has developed an interest in the fitting of specialty contact lenses and dry eye management. She also has extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease including diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and macular degeneration, as well as ocular emergencies. Dr. Reynolds is able to work with primary care physicians and ophthalmologists to provide the most comprehensive eye care for her patients.
Dr. Reynolds is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Missouri Optometric Association. She is a former member of Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society and The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. She has received Awards of Excellence in Ocular Disease and Contact Lenses from the University of Missouri- St. Louis College of Optometry.
Eric Pfeifer, OD
Dr. Eric Pfeifer has recently moved to the Saint Louis region. Originally from northeast Nebraska, Eric completed his undergraduate degree at Wayne State College. He then moved to Saint Louis to attend the University of Missouri-Saint Louis College of Optometry. During that time Dr. Pfeifer was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Academic Honor Society and Dean’s list throughout all four years of optometry school. He was also involved with various organizations including vice-president of the America Optometric Student Association.
Dr. Pfeifer offers individualized eye care, tailored to each patient. His clinical interests include primary eye care, ocular disease with an emphasis on cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, and dry eyes. He is also interested in soft and specialty contact lens care. As a practicing Physician, Dr. Pfeifer values continual professional development and is a current member of the American Optometric Association, the Missouri Optometric Association, and the Saint Louis Optometric Society.
